From a first visit to a booked meeting
A quiz replaces the landing page. It learns what a visitor needs, shows them a plan made from their answers, and hands the conversation to an AI closer over iMessage that keeps going until the meeting is booked.

Opens Messages with your plan filled in. You send the first text.
Hi! I’d like a tasting for Fernwood Café. Plan: 10 lb a week, Lighthouse blend.
Hi, I’m Gen, Beacon’s AI assistant. Happy to set that up. Thursday at 10 or Friday at 2?
Thursday at 10
Booked. Maya will bring the Lighthouse blend. You’ll get a reminder Wednesday.

The problem
A form and a wait is where leads go cold.
A landing page asks a stranger to fill in a form and wait for a call. The funnel turns that into a conversation the visitor starts, in the app they already check.

Thinking it through
Who sends the first text matters.
When the visitor sends the first message, the thread lives in their own Messages, and the agent can keep the conversation going instead of landing in a filtered inbox.
A form, then a wait. The lead cools before anyone calls.
The conversation ends when the tab closes.
The plan earns the text. The thread stays in their Messages.
The design
Four screens, one decision each.

- 1One question per screen, answered with a tap. No typing until the visitor chooses to.
- 2The plan reflects their own answers back, so the next step feels earned, not pushed.
- 3One button opens Messages with the plan filled in. The visitor sends the first text.
- 4The agent says it is an AI, offers two times, and books the meeting in the thread.
Qualification
Only qualified visitors see the calendar.
Everyone gets a useful answer. Only a real fit gets meeting times, and the team hears about every lead either way. Try it.
What kind of business are you?
The rule is enforced in the product and covered by its phone tests: unqualified answers never reach the calendar.
What I learned
Lessons I still use.
Let the visitor send the first text.
It puts the conversation in their own Messages, where they actually read, and keeps the agent out of the spam folder.
Earn the ask.
A plan built from their answers makes booking feel like the obvious next step.
Qualify before the calendar.
Sales time goes to real fits. Everyone else still gets a helpful answer.
Always say it is an AI.
Disclosure up front keeps trust intact when the conversation turns into a meeting.
